Key Responsibilities:
- Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, hours may vary based on unit needs)
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
- Saturdays required occasionally
- Setting:
- 4 Mammography rooms
- 1 Bone Density room
- 2 Ultrasound rooms
- Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits

- PTO accrual beginning Day 1
- Supervision & Leadership: Supervise daily operations of mammography services, including client, scheduling, and charge reconciliation.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to technologists.
- Clinical Excellence: Perform mammography and bone density procedures as needed, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Oversee MQSA preparation, EQUIP compliance, and ensure all regulatory standards are met.
- Maintain accreditation requirements.
- Staff Development: Conduct department orientation, provide ongoing education and training for staff, and foster a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control initiatives, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Operations Management: Assist with resource planning, equipment maintenance coordination, and workflow optimization.
- Act as department liaison in manager's absence.
- Key Skills;Current ARRT-M (Mammography) certification
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensure through Texas Medical Board
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Supervisor experience or 2 years as Lead Tech preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Imaging program.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist required.
- Supervisor experience or 2 years as Lead Tech preferred.
- Current ARRT-M (Mammography) certification required
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensure through Texas Medical Board
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Additional certifications in breast sonography (ARRT-BS) or other modalities preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Clinical expertise in mammography and bone density procedures.
- Knowledge of MQSA, EQUIP, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Ability to teach, coach, and develop staff
