Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
- Supervise and oversee daily clinical operations and staffing needs
- Coordinate and document safe, high-quality patient care across the care continuum
- Lead and support clinical staff, including orientation, training, mentoring, and competency validation
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
- Promote patient- and family-centered care and service excellence
- Participate in performance improvement, quality initiatives, and survey readiness activities
- Support professional development, shared governance, and evidence-based practice
- Assist with staff recruitment, scheduling, and performance feedback
- Manage clinical resources, supplies, and workflow efficiency
- Serve as liaison between clinical staff, providers, leadership, and informatics teams
- Uphold confidentiality, safety, ethical standards, and organizational policies
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
- BLS certification (ACLS/PALS may be required depending on practice area)
- Nursing degree (Associate or Diploma required; BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of national nursing standards and clinical regulations
- Ability to lead, delegate, and supervise clinical staff
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills
- Time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of compliance, accreditation, and survey readiness standards.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
- BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
- Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
- Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
