Pay Range: $33 - $58/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work Shift: Day Shift (Full-time) with on-call requirement.
• Procedural Patient Care: Provide complete nursing care for patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
• Clinical Competence: Administer contrast media and conscious sedation per policy, demonstrate IV competence, and prepare sterile trays/catheters for procedures.
• Safety & Compliance: Execute pre-procedural verifications, time-outs, and site marking. Verify patient ID using two identifiers and ensure all orders are clarified and followed correctly.
• Coordination & Communication: Coordinate daily patient schedules, transport patients, and serve as a key communication link between patients, families, and physicians. Review cases with physicians as needed.
• Emergency Response: Maintain ACLS/BLS certification and assist in emergency situations in a decisive, composed manner.
• Patient Education: Provide thorough patient and family education, including post-procedural home care instructions.
• On-Call Duty: Must be flexible with hours and participate in the scheduled on-call rotation to meet department needs.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; Registered Nurse (RN), Interventional Radiology, ICU/CCU/ER or Cath Lab Experience, BLS, ACLS
• Licensure: Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multi-State Compact RN license.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required upon hire.
• Experience: Previous experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Cath Lab is required. Interventional Radiology experience is a significant plus.
• Skills: Must possess strong critical thinking, excellent time management, and collaborative customer service skills. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies appropriately. Must be able to read, write, and speak English and possess basic computer skills.
