Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and overall management for an acute care nursing unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care
• Lead staff recruitment, retention, engagement, and professional development through shared governance and relationship-based care
• Serve as the unit’s chief retention and safety officer, proactively managing risks and promoting a safe work environment
• Oversee clinical, financial, human, and material resources to achieve operational, quality, and business outcomes
• Analyze and manage budgets, staffing, and resource utilization to meet performance targets
• Foster effective interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, staff, and leadership teams
• Establish performance standards and hold staff accountable through coaching, communication, and evaluation
• Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance
• Utilize data and technology to support clinical and operational decision-making
• Lead change management initiatives and support a diverse, multigenerational workforce
• Ensure compliance with nursing practice standards, ethics, licensure, accreditation, and organizational policies

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage staffing, budgets, and operational resources
• Experience with shared governance and staff engagement models
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Ability to analyze data and use technology to support decision-making
• Change management and conflict resolution skills
• Strong relationship-building and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Continuous learning mindset with understanding of healthcare financing and operations
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Experience:Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
