Quality Assurance Engineer

Pay Range: $65 - $70/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning (20%) -Work with the product owner and development teams to determine testing plan for future releases
• Maintain library of manual test scripts
• Assist developers in learning what tests need to be covered by unit tests.
• Participate in project meetings, daily scrums, and product planning sessions.
• Test Execution (60%) -Independently execute manual test scripts against their new POS and KDS
• Follow defect resolution from inception to production
• Maintain a testing lab in our offices in Louisville, KY
• Assist in managing a fleet of test devices and their test builds
• Work with our security team to validate findings of PEN and security testing
• Report on success or failure of test script runs.
• Production Support (20%) -Act as an escalation point for our customer helpdesk
• Certify restaurant hardware
• Act as Subject Matter Expert on how the system services are used by other systems in the environment 

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-"Manual Testing”, “Automation Testing”, “POS/QSR”,  “Test Scripts”, “Test Planning”, “Test Execution”, “Production Support”, “Jira”, “Confluence”
• You will be in a lab testing UX to ensure proper integrations with all systems and troubleshooting for any bugs or misconfigurations  
• We are looking for someone with a natural curiosity for understanding how systems work
• Experience with manual testing
• Experience in the retail and QSR industry are preferred
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking
