Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments using the nursing process
• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Coordinate and communicate care plans with interdisciplinary teams
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process
• Participate in performance improvement, shared governance, and quality initiatives
• Support efficient use of clinical resources and adherence to safety standards
• Maintain compliance with professional nursing standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills;Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
• BLS certification (required upon hire)
• NRP certification (required or obtained within required timeframe)
• ACLS certification (required or obtained within required timeframe)
• Nursing degree (Associate or Diploma required; BSN preferred)
• Direct patient care experience (preferred)
• Strong maternal–newborn assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong critical-thinking, time-management, and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-centered care skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer skills
• Ability to respond calmly and decisively to obstetric emergencies
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
