CPA-certified Lease Accountant
Immediate need for a talented CPA-certified Lease Accountant (ASC 842). This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Dallas, TX (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $60- $68/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze lease contracts (new and renewals)
- Apply ASC 842 lease accounting standards
- Set up and maintain lease schedules
- Perform month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare and validate lease data for system migration
- Maintain General Ledger accounts related to leases
- Support audit and financial reporting requirements
- Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Active CPA (Mandatory)
- 3–5+ years of hands-on lease accounting (ASC 842)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Index-Match)
- Strong understanding of reconciliations and financial reporting
- Experience reviewing lease contracts and building schedule
- Exposure to lease accounting systems (training provided)
- Experience supporting data migration or system transitions
