Key Responsibilities:
- Data Governance Execution: Support the rollout and management of data governance policies including data quality, stewardship, lineage, and classification across business domains.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design and develop robust, interactive Tableau dashboards that provide transparency into data quality metrics, governance KPIs, and business performance.
- Tool Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with data governance and observability tools such as Alation and Bigeye for metadata management, data discovery, and quality monitoring.
- Data Profiling & Validation: Perform deep-dive analysis using SQL, Excel, or SAS to profile data, identify anomalies, and support remediation strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with data stewards, product owners, and business analysts to define data requirements, improve trust in data assets, and enforce governance processes.
- Documentation & Audit Support: Maintain thorough documentation of data definitions, governance workflows, and dashboard specifications to support audits and compliance initiatives.
- Key Skills;Tableau, BI, Information Governance.
- Proficiency in Tableau for building interactive, insightful dashboards to track governance KPIs and data quality metrics.
- Advanced SQL skills for data profiling, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis.
- Competence in Excel and/or SAS for data validation, exploration, and remediation support.
- Experience with Alation data catalog platform
- Experience with Bigeye data observability platform
- Familiarity with data lineage and metadata management tools
- Strong understanding of data governance practices including data quality, stewardship, lineage, and classification.
- Proficiency in Tableau for building interactive, insightful dashboards to track governance KPIs and data quality metrics.
- Hands-on experience with Alation or similar tools for metadata management and Bigeye or similar tools for data quality monitoring and observability.
- Advanced SQL skills for data profiling, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis.
- Competence in Excel and/or SAS for data validation, exploration, and remediation support.
- Ability to work closely with data stewards, business analysts, and product owners to gather and define data requirements.
- Strong skills in documenting governance processes, data definitions, and dashboard specifications.
- Knowledge of compliance and audit requirements to ensure proper data controls and traceability.
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence, SharePoint, or JIRA for documentation and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to drive data governance adoption and trust.
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience working in cross-functional teams .
