IMS Systems Programmer
Immediate need for a talented IMS Systems Programmer. This is a 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, TX/Charlotte, NC/Jacksonville, FL/Atlanta, GA/Pennington, NJ(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $65 - $68/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; IMS, DB2 , MQ , CICS, REXX, Z/OS, Mainframe
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mainframe environments, particularly with z/OS.
- Installing and customizing IMS components, troubleshooting system issues by analyzing dumps and logs, collaborating with application teams, implementing recovery plans, and integrating IMS with other mainframe systems like DB2 , MQ , and CICS .
- The role requires strong z/OS operating system knowledge, skills in REXX and IMS utilities, and an understanding of disaster recovery and IT service management (ITIL) best practices
