Engr 2, Quality/ Calibration Engineer
Immediate need for a talented Engr 2, Quality/ Calibration Engineer. This is a 06 Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Sparks, Maryland (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $ 30 - $40/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
- 9-5 pm ET (First shift)
- 5 days onsite at 250 Shilling Circle, Hunt Valley? (BD Baltimore Plant)
- Support testing of high-temperature and high-voltage equipment (-20°C to 150°C; 0–1000V AC/DC)
- Assist with setup, operation, and monitoring of temperature controllers, generators, multimeters (handheld/benchtop), life analyzers, and pressure gauges
- Data collection and documentation
- Work alongside one other technician
- Develop Procedures: Create and implement calibration procedures for various instruments and systems.
- Perform Calibrations: Adjust, test, and certify equipment to meet industry standards and specifications.
- Analyze Data: Examine calibration data, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot: Investigate equipment issues and resolve measurement inaccuracies.
- Document & Maintain: Keep detailed records, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards (like GMP).
- Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, quality) to optimize processes.
- Improve Systems: Participate in projects to enhance calibration methods and equipment.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Must have skills: Calibration/Metrology
- Maintenance
- Equipment/Instrument
- Temperature
- Documentation
- Bachelor's ideal, will consider Associates for a qualified candidate
- Recent 5-10 years of hands-on with the Calibration of Equipment and Instrument.
- Precision Equipment Lab training, test, measurement, and equipment diagnostic training
- Computer skills
- Specialized in temp controllers, calibration equipment (eddy?)
- Work on generators etc
- GMP experience is a plus
- Blue Mountain RAM (Regulatory Asset Manager) -nice to have, contractor will be trained
- Knowledge of ISO equipment nice to have
