Immediate need for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Dialysis. This is a PRN (as-needed), Flexible Shift opportunity and is located in Warm Springs, Georgia(Onsite). Key Responsibilities:

•  Initiate, monitor, and discontinue hemodialysis treatments (non-catheter).
• Assess patients pre, intra, and post-dialysis, monitor vital signs and machine parameters, and respond to any acute complications (e.g., hypotension, cramping).
• Direct Dialysis Patient Care:• 
• Assemble, test, tear down, disinfect, and sanitize dialysis machines and water treatment systems according to strict protocols. Draw water samples for quality testing (cultures/endotoxins).
• Technical Operations:• 
•  Adhere rigorously to infection prevention and control procedures. Ensure the safety of the treatment environment and equipment at all times.
• Infection Control & Safety:• 
• Educate patients on their treatment and self-care. Collaborate with the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team (dietitians, social workers, nephrologists) to coordinate all facets of care.
• Patient Education & Collaboration:• 
• Clinical Documentation: Accurately document all aspects of patient care, treatment parameters, and any incidents in the patient record.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Must have skills: Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (required upon hire or within 180 days)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (3+ years in healthcare setting preferred)
• Dialysis nursing experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.o
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
• Current RN License in the State of Georgia or a Multi-State Compact License.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required upon hire.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required upon hire or within 180 days.
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is highly desirable.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare or institutional work setting is required.
• Dialysis nursing experience is strongly preferred. Experience in ICU, CCU, or other acute care with strong IV skills may be considered.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and vascular access management (AV fistulas, grafts).
• Strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and ability to follow complex protocols.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and respond calmly to emergencies.
