Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 

• Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice
• Deliver individualized, patient-centered care aligned with population-specific needs
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Coordinate and document safe, high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams through rounds, case reviews, and handoffs
• Administer medications and interventions according to clinical protocols
• Educate patients and families, incorporating them into the plan of care
• Participate in performance improvement, shared governance, and quality initiatives
• Support professional development, including precepting or mentoring staff when needed
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and organizational policies

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Must Have SkillsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to provide care in a progressive/critical care (PCU) environment
• Proficiency in patient monitoring and early recognition of clinical deterioration
• Excellent interdisciplinary communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety standards
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
