Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop nursing diagnoses, plan and implement individualized care, and evaluate outcomes
- Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practice
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols
- Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes or emergencies
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and participate in rounds and case reviews
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs and goals of care
- Participate in performance improvement, quality, and patient safety initiatives
- Support shared governance, professional nursing standards, and ethical practice
- Complete required competencies, education, and ongoing professional development
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor as needed
- Support efficient use of human and material resources
- Comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and standards of practice
- Skills-Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, acute care environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with EMR documentation and healthcare technology
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a calm, decisive, and professional manner
- Commitment to evidence-based nursing practice
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
- BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
- Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
- Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
