Pay Range: $60/hr - $68/hour.  Travel Pay Package

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including history, IV access, and informed consent.
• Assist during diagnostic angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and other structural heart procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation and hemodynamic monitoring under physician guidance.
• Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, recognizing and responding to complications rapidly.
• Manage sheaths, dressings, and vascular closure devices post-procedure.
• Provide patient and family education on post-cath care, medications, and activity restrictions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR (Cerner or similar) and ensure procedural compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required (schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am–5:30pm with call)
• Consistent 10-hour day shifts with guaranteed 40 hours per week

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; Registered Nurse, RN, Cardiac Cath Lab, BLS, ACLS
• Active RN License (GA or Compact State)
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications (required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within cardiac cath lab or interventional cardiology specialty
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and cath lab equipment
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts (Monday–Friday, 7am–5:30pm) with on-call requirements
• Proficiency in sterile technique, sheath removal, and hemostasis management
• Excellent critical thinking and rapid decision-making during emergencies
• Strong communication and teamwork in a procedural setting
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• No local candidates within 50 miles
• Ability to stand for long periods and wear lead aprons as needed
