Occupational Therapist

Pay Range: $48/hr - $54/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (8-Hour Day Shift)
• 13-week contract
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Day shift schedule
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• Local candidates only
• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions for acute care patients across multiple units
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document treatments and progress in Cerner (OneChart)
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and discharge planning
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and quality standards

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Minimum 15–18 months of recent Occupational Therapy experience in specialty
• Active Georgia Occupational Therapist License
• AHA BLS Certification (Required)
• Acute care or hospital experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Cerner / OneChart preferred
