Radiologic Technologist

Pay Range: $45 - $50/hour.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Perform general radiography (X-ray) and multi-modality imaging procedures as assigned
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for optimal imaging results
• Operate imaging equipment following established protocols and safety standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation within Cerner EMR
• Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and self
• Assist with patient flow and imaging room turnover to maintain efficient operations
• Collaborate with radiologists to adjust techniques and repeat images when necessary
• Adhere to infection control and quality assurance guidelines
• Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
• Location: Atlanta, Georgia (specific facility details provided upon interview)

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; Minimum 2 years of recent experience within specialty
• AHA BLS certification
• ARRT certification
• Cerner experience
• Multi-modality imaging experience in an outpatient (OP) center setting
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Licensure/Certification:
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification – required
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Experience in a multi-modality outpatient imaging center preferred
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR is required
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to image quality and safety
• Team-oriented with flexibility across modalities as needed
