Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

• Assess, monitor, and evaluate critically ill cardiovascular patients
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Deliver safe, effective care in accordance with CVICU policies and protocols
• Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to clinical changes
• Coordinate care and communicate plans with providers and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and recovery
• Advocate for patients using patient- and family-centered care principles
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives
• Maintain professional competence through ongoing education and certification
• Support mentorship, precepting, and shared governance activities
• Comply with all organizational, regulatory, and safety standards

• Must Have Skills;
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to provide care in a high-acuity CVICU environment
• Proficiency in cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Strong documentation and EMR proficiency
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and professional standards
• Ability to prioritize care and manage complex, critically ill patients
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
