Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills-Hadoop, Spark, Cloudera, CDP, PySpark, Hive, SQL
- Cloudera CDP Hadoop Administration with strong background in Unix and Infrastructure
- Spark, Python, PySpark
- Hive, Impala
- Ozone
- Bachelors
- Characteristics of a top performer; Self-motivated, needs minimal direction and strong analytical skills.
- Deal Breaker Items: Lack of experience in large Hadoop environments
- 7 years of hands-on experience in software development with 2 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering
- Strong understanding of Java or Python
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and technology groups to designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions
- Experience working on Agile teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong background in SQL
- 5 experience in Hadoop, Cloudera is a plus
- Strong experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting
