Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on light-duty and/or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Support vehicle builds, tear-downs, and validation tests.
- Install and evaluate prototype parts and systems.
- Operate diagnostic tools and interpret results (e.g., scan tools, oscilloscopes).
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, test data, and part changes.
- Interface with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in prototype and production vehicles.
- Ensure shop cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper tool usage.
- Skills-Credit & Collections Agent.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or certification in Automotive Technology or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience as an automotive or diesel technician.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with CAN tools and diagnostic equipment (e.g., IDS, MDI, Techstream).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
