Project Manager – PMO Support

Pay Range: $48 - $52/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the program manager in setting and enforcing deadlines and adhering to project timelines
• Ensure that project work meets established quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
• Facilitate effective communication among cross-functional teams, stakeholders, leadership, and external partners
• Prepare clear and concise status reports and presentations to update stakeholders and leadership on project progress
• Schedule and organize project team meetings, including preparing agendas and distributing meeting minutes
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, plans, and reports
• Track project progress, including milestones, deliverables, and potential issues
• Help manage and monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation
• Ensure proper filing and organization of all project-related documentation at a team and enterprise level
• Provide administrative support, such as processing paperwork and tracking deliverables
• Collaborate with the program manager to identify and resolve blockers that may hinder progress

• Key skills; Project Management
• Jira or Confluence
• Budget tracking OR Milestone
• Proficiency in Microsoft and other project management software such as Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Jira, Confluence, Miro
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate project goals and provide clear updates to stakeholders and leadership
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with excellent attention to detail
• A proactive approach to identifying problems and helping to develop effective solutions
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Project Management or Agile-Focused certifications such as PMP, CAPM, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, etc.
• 5 years work experience as a project manager (experience in the Insurance/Finance industry a plus)
