Marketing & Communications Specialist

Pay Range: $26 - $28/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Working Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM Mon to Fri
• Assist in developing and executing marketing and communication strategies
• Collaborate with project managers to prepare and submit materials for regulatory review
• Submit communication requests to copywriting and graphics teams
• Work closely with health plans including Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace
• Review and proof ID cards and letters in user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Log and track tasks using central intake systems, ECMS, Workfront, and Jira
• Participate in daily Scrum meetings, providing progress updates
• Ensure deliverables meet performance expectations, including 99.5% quality standards and on-time delivery

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; InDesign experience preferred, Illustrator, Adobe Suite
• Marketing/communications materials experience preferred
• Experience with Jira
• Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing or communications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams
• Experience creating and editing marketing or communication materials
• Knowledge of writing techniques such as newsletters, press releases, and promotional copy
• Prior copywriting for web/digital platforms preferred
• Experience with Jira required
• Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Adobe Suite experience preferred
• Healthcare industry background preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail with excellent proofreading abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Marketing, Communications related field
