Hardware Design Engineer
Immediate need for a talented Hardware Design Engineer. This is a 07+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Milpitas CA(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $68 - $70/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-compliance screening tests for EMI/EMC/Safety etc at third party labs
- Perform reliability analysis such DFMEA, MTBF prediction, HALT testing, ESS testing etc
- Signal Integrity testing, compliance testing
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; Hardware engineer| PCI/PCIE | PCB layout|| Cadence or Cad tols|| Multimeter| Oscilloscopes|
- Experience in high-speed designs (interfaces such as PCIe Gen 5/6, USB4.x, DDR5, 10G/100G Ethernet etc)
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience as a Hardware design and test engineer.
- Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or equivalent.
- Excellent problem-solving/ debugging skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Active involvement in all phases of an embedded product development (Requirement Analysis, Design, Implementation, Prototyping, Documentation and Testing)
- Should be an expert in selecting components meeting cost, functionality, performance, regulatory and non-functional requirements such as long-term availability, size etc.
- Independently develop micro-controller and micro-processor-based designs with peripherals such as ADCs, DACs, storage, Ethernet PHYs etc
- Experience in/Knowledge of interfaces such as DDR3/4/5, PCIe Gen4 or higher, SATA, USB3.0/4.0, Ethernet, Display interfaces, Audio interfaces, SPI, I2C etc
- Proficient in developing Schematics using Cadence OrCAD tool
- Should be able to prepare the PCB layout guidelines and review the PCB layout using Cadence Allegro tool
- Experience in designing multi-layer PCBs considering EMI/EMC and signal integrity aspects
- Perform board bring-up tests, functional tests, and DVT
- Experience with hardware testing and debugging tools (e.g., Power Supply, Multimeter, Oscilloscopes, Logic analysers etc).
