Lab Technician

Pay Range: $30 - $32/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute development lab activities to include electrical, mechanical, consumables and system level as required with high quality and on time.
• PCBA/component soldering, PCBA rework, prototype board creation, mechanical parts assembly, consumables/plastic parts assembly.
• Adheres relevant company SOPs and processes and delivers high quality in all work products on time.
• Follow procedures and lab requirements.
• Make, test and inspect development and pilot product.
• Maintain all data and records according to approved procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate all measuring equipment as required.
• Organize lab space, parts, and equipment as required

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Minimum experience: 3 years of PCBA/component soldering and Electro-Mechanical subassembly, proficiency with electrical and mechanical test equipment and type of work experience beyond formal education) required for competent performance:
• Generally, Requires 3-5 Years Work Experience.
• Proficiency with Electrical test equipment such as multimeter, oscilloscope and spectrum/network analyzer
• Proficiency with Mechanical test equipment such as caliper, force gauge (Mark10), force/fatigue test system (Instron).
• Experience in PCBA soldering of through hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) components and prototype board assembly.
• Experience in mechanical parts assembly and supporting prototyping.
• Experience in consumables/plastic parts assembly and supporting prototyping.
• Experience in system level electro-mechanical assembly and debugging.
