Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Mainframe System programmer supporting zShadow Direct infrastructure.
• This position is responsible for the daily support and upkeep of the mainframe zShadow Direct environments on the Brokerage zOS systems and supporting processes.
• The position requires an in-depth knowledge of DB2, JCL, working with Client and vendor utilities and being able to work with various technical groups, application developers and LOB to support real-time business functions across the Brokerage systems.
• The zShadow Direct infrastructure supports many real-time critical business functions across GWIM and GMRT.
• The position supports a large scale zOS environment running in a parallel SYSPLEX.
• This role performs software implementation, maintenance, certification testing, development and documentation of operational procedures.
• Problem debugging and root cause analysis, interaction with software vendors.
• The group this position is part of will require some off-hours and weekend work as well as rotation in 24 x 7 ONCALL support.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Db2 Connect, z/OS
• Position requires in-depth knowledge supporting zOS mainframe infrastructure, a focus on zShadow Direct or similar product like DB2 CONNECT, the individual should have DB2 DBA experience and skills, experience with Client utilities including DB2 Utilities and SQL
• The candidate must be proficient in the use of JCL and working with various vendor utility programs.
• They must possess good analytical skills, debugging skills.
• Good communication skills both written and oral are required as the individual must interface with application developers, support teams, software vendors and management staff
