Pay Range: $33/hour - $59/hour.Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee the daily activities of the unit, making patient assignments, rounding on all patients, and ensuring the safe, high-quality delivery of care.
• Perform tactical duties including daily discharge/LOS review, physician rounding, bed flow management in conjunction with the House Supervisor, and equipment/resource management.
• Serve as a clinical expert and resource, performing or overseeing the nursing process, providing peer coaching, and upholding evidence-based practice standards.
• Act as a liaison, communicating effectively with the Nurse Manager, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to address needs and concerns.
• Foster a positive work environment by mentoring staff, participating in performance improvement, and supporting shared governance initiatives.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State)
• BLS certification; ACLS certification is preferred
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (required); 2+ years and relief charge experience (strongly preferred)
• Strong leadership, delegation, and clinical coordination abilities
• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification is strongly preferred upon hire.
• Current RN License in the State of Georgia or Multi-State Compact.
• Minimum 2 years of experience, including relief charge nurse duties, is highly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• Strong clinical expertise and sound clinical judgment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and staff development.
• Proven leadership, delegation, and team coordination skills.
