RN – Intermediate Care

Pay Range: $40 - $44/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift: Night
• Provide direct patient care to acutely ill patients requiring close monitoring but not intensive care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
• Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and post-operative recovery.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Serve as a patient advocate, promoting dignity, comfort, and quality of care.
• Support transition of care by coordinating with ICU, Med-Surg, or other units as needed.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
