- Exemplary Practice: Perform the complete nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver individualized, evidence-based, relationship-based patient-centered care.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Coordinate and document safe, quality care, promoting a respectful, inclusive clinical environment and supporting interdisciplinary communication and shared governance.
- Professional Development: Complete all competency assessments and mandatory education. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified future workforce and model professional practice.
- Evidence-Based Practice & Research: Promote and participate in evidence-based practice, research, and performance improvement initiatives, including data collection and upholding all safety and regulatory standards.
- Resource Stewardship: Proactively plan patient care across the continuum and participate in developing protocols to achieve best practice outcomes, supporting efficient use of resources.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Must have skills:Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State)
- BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (required upon hire)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required. Associate's Degree in nursing or graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing is required.
- Licensure/Certification (all required upon hire):•
- Current RN License in the State of Georgia or Multi-State Compact.o
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.o
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.o
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience is Required.o
- A dedicated, compassionate clinician focused on exemplary patient outcomes.
- Strong collaborator committed to teamwork, shared governance, and professional development.
- Skilled in evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, and family-centered care.
