Key Responsibilities:
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for overseeing all aspects of medical care for those individuals RHD provides services.
- Act as part of a multidisciplinary team designed to provide services from a holistic and Values based perspective
- Manage the ordering/delivery/storage/ administration of medications for the persons served in accordance with the specific program/service
- Provide education to both persons served and staff regarding common health concerns.
- Provide training to staff as required/requested in order to best meet the needs of persons served.
- Assess and respond to new/potential/ ongoing health issues in persons served.
- Complete documentation as required by RHD, funder/licensing/accreditation bodies.
- Regular communication with the facility's Psychiatrist to collaborate on care and take verbal orders.
- A graduate of a school of professional Nursing (AD, hospital, or BSN); BSN preferred
- Current license to practice
