Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as technical expert in the network field, responsible for delivering Pyramid network solutions to customers.
  • Analyzes and understands business needs presented by customers as Pyramid's network solutions expert, collaborating with other architects to build and deploy robust network technical solutions.
  • Responsible for network delivery execution, ensuring client satisfaction and service delivery expectations are met/exceeded
  • Hands-on design, build, deployment and support of network planning, design, build, deploy and support capabilities.
  • Acts as technical escalation point for customer network incidents, helping analyze and resolve such incidents.
  • Understands ITIL best practices on how to apply them for network service delivery of network Infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wireless and VPN.
  • Recommends network information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, and anticipating organizational requirements
  • Participates in all Pyramid network hardware/software/tools evaluations
  • Works collaboratively with Sales and Presales to help shape and win new business as customer-facing Network and operational network service delivery expert.
  • Builds strong internal relationships with Pyramid peers and other senior business unit leadership.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience within the information technology, with experience in analyzing, building and deploying ITIL-based IT service management solutions.
  • Certifications and accreditations in network disciplines a plus.
  • Experience in the most current network infrastructure technologies (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, service management/ITIL), with strong background in network technology management and IT technical and customer support.
  • Ability to travel, depending upon work location and client locations, part-time
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize work and demonstrate flexibility through the balancing of multiple work tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to negotiate with clients
  • Leadership skills to prioritize, delegate tasks to appropriate staff, and perform required follow-up
  • Consistently meets deadlines with quality deliverables.
  • Achieves high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Earn positive feedback from customers as well internal stakeholders
