Immediate need for a Sales Rep, Internal Sales & Service with experience in the Financial Industry. This is a 6-12 month contract opportunity with long-term potential located in Columbus/Dublin/Grove City- OHIO. Please review the job description below:

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Receives and responds to incoming calls from producers and customers. Handles service and sales inquiries. Understands the assigned product and can provide service to internal and external customers.
  • Maintains records of conversations and has knowledge and understanding of the current processing systems. Provides excellent service to producers and customers in support of business units service and sales objectives. Engages consumers and producers to retain their assets with the company.
  • Turns service inquiries into sales opportunities. Receives requests for sales literature and responds in a timely manner.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • One-year experience in customer service, sales related occupations.
  • Knowledge of various insurance products and the sales process. Knowledge of the state and local laws necessary to understand the legal implications of certain product features in different states.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Undergraduate studies in insurance, business, marketing, or other related fields preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications necessary in order to talk to producers/customers about product features and to help in the sales process. Basic knowledge of computers and common office software."   Provides efficient service support to customers.
  • Processes business in accordance with government regulations, contract provisions, and internal procedures and controls. Is knowledgeable of our products and can handle different types of inquiries.
  • Analyzes and resolves routine issues. Uncovers routine sales opportunities on service calls.
