Senior Structural Engineer

Pay Range: $ 90 - $93 /hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities: - 

• Lead structural design from the conceptual phase through design completion for projects with a focus on marine structures, including piers, wharfs, bulkheads, fender systems and other related structures.
• Participate in the development of project fees, schedules, scopes, budgets, staff planning and construction planning. Responsible for the effective management of change orders.
• Apply expert knowledge of commonly used structural concepts, practices, codes and procedures.
• Apply knowledge and experience to complex projects and find non-standard design solutions.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Professional Engineer (PE) License Required
• Waterfront
• 4 years structural engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) License Required
• minimum of 4 years structural engineering experience, or master’s degree in Structural Engineering and 6 years structural engineering experience
• Expert knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures. Strong knowledge of structural design codes (e.g., IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE-7). Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
