Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location)

• Support the Nurse Manager in daily clinical and operational management of the unit
• Lead and mentor nursing staff while promoting teamwork, engagement, and retention
• Hold staff accountable for quality care delivery and professional standards
• Assist with staffing, budgeting, and management of human and material resources
• Promote evidence-based practice, performance improvement, and patient safety initiatives
• Support shared governance and staff involvement in decision-making processes
• Ensure compliance with licensure, regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards
• Participate in staff evaluations, coaching, counseling, and development
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve clinical and operational goals
• Use data and quality metrics to support decision-making and improve outcomes
• Serve as a leadership resource in the Nurse Manager’s absence
• Represent the organization professionally within the community and nursing profession

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
• BLS certification (required upon hire)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience
• Experience in perioperative or operating room settings
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to support staff accountability, performance management, and engagement
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and patient safety standards
• Understanding of healthcare operations, finance, and resource management
• Proficiency with data, technology, and EMR systems
• Knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and risk management requirements
• Interest in progressive nursing leadership and management roles
• Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
