Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Monitor and evaluate patient condition, responding appropriately to changes
• Deliver safe, effective care in accordance with policies and procedures
• Coordinate care and communicate patient care plans with the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, education, and outcomes
• Advocate for patients and families using patient- and family-centered care principles
• Provide education and support to patients and families
• Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives
• Maintain required licenses, certifications, and ongoing training
• Stay current with clinical research and best practices
• Support mentorship, preceptorship, and professional development of peers
• Promote a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment
• Uphold confidentiality, safety, ethical, and professional standards
• Participate in shared governance activities
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (single-state or compact)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to provide care in a high-acuity pediatric critical care environment
• Strong patient and family communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams
• Proficiency in clinical documentation
• Knowledge of patient safety, confidentiality, and professional standards
• Commitment to evidence-based nursing practice
• Ability to prioritize care and manage multiple complex patients
• Strong professional judgment and decision-making skills
• Willingness to participate in performance improvement and shared governance
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
