Scrum Master / QA Governance Lead

Pay Range: $70 - $85/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Fill a temporary role for about 4 months as a backfill for a scrum master who is on leave, followed by a closely related role within the team for managing a QA process, also about 4 months.
• As a scrum master, this person will have the responsibility of running a scrum team, delivering complex software solutions.
• Later, in the QA lead role, the person will oversee compliance of test and release artifacts to enterprise requirements. No software/environment testing is involved.
• Ensure traceability from high-level requirements through to stories, to test plans, scripts, results, and test evidence.
• Management of enterprise deliverables pertaining to the global platform.
• Working with a globally dispersed team of developers, technology teams external to the immediate team, and release management members.
• Provide expertise in Agile methodologies.
• Technical writing in response to various regulatory assessments and inquiries.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-Experience in running Scrum teams, and in Agile methodologies, coupled with domain knowledge in Financial Markets and technical business analysis.
• Experience in quality control, quality assurance, systems analysis, SDLC/QA/release management tools (JIRA, Octane, Remedy), creating and managing dashboards (JIRA ticket management, test case and test progress management).
• Experience in running Scrum teams, and in Agile methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders across technology and the business.
• Knowledge of Software development principles and release management.
• Highly motivated, self starter ; solving real problems, and adding value to the business.
