Key Responsibilities:
- Peer to peer phone scheduling team taking LIVE calls from providers that have received a denial for an authorization.
- The purpose of a p2p is for the provider and our internal MD to have a conversation to see if additional information can be obtained to support medical necessity and overturn a denial.
- The work environment is fast-paced and remote with a large emphasis on customer service, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Breaks and lunches are schedule due to working in a live phone queue call center environment.
- Scheduler will take 30 live p2p requests via a phone queue (Inbound mainly but also some outbound), schedule via Outlook invite and create a TruCare task, and enter a TC note for each call.
- Performance indicators: Avg call handle time 7.5 min, avg hold time 1.5 min, calls are audited for quality, 90% service levels
- Ability to work from home, fast paced work environment, working cross-functionally with MD and clinical team., improving provider experience, and helping ensure that members receive needed services.
- Skills-2 - 4 years of medical call center experience
- Fast typing Speed
- Call center experience/ability to multitask
- Healthcare background
- Fast Typing (50 WPM preferred)
