Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee daily unit operations on assigned shift
• Assign patients and manage staffing and patient flow
• Provide modified direct patient care as needed
• Coordinate care through interdisciplinary collaboration
• Round on patients to ensure quality, safety, and appropriateness of care
• Oversee and support the nursing process using evidence-based practice
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff
• Communicate unit needs and concerns to nursing leadership
• Support performance improvement and shared governance initiatives
• Mentor and precept nursing staff to support professional development
• Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and confidentiality
• Promote a safe, respectful, and patient-centered care environment

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Prior charge nurse or relief charge experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
• Ability to delegate, prioritize, and manage unit workflow
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Knowledge of evidence-based nursing practice
• Ability to ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
