Credentialing Specialist

Immediate need for a talented Credentialing Specialist. This is a 12+months contract to hire opportunity with long-term potential and is located in TX  (Remote ). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $19.50 - $20/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift: 8am-5pm 8-hour shift Monday-Friday Optional overtime
• Credential and re-credential various providers, including physicians, healthcare delivery organizations, or pharmacies, according to applicable specifications
• Maintain and update credentialing database
• Assist with coordinating credentialing committee
• Process, track and file credentialing applications within established standards
• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding credentialing status
• May require the ability to travel, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance (depending on business unit)
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards".
• Triage practitioner files, data entry, outreach through email and phone.
• Meetings, IM, and emails.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Credentialing, Excel, Word.
• High School diploma or GED
• Excel and Word
• Microsoft Office- Excel and Word
• Data Entry
• Customer Service
