Java IVR Engineer

Pay Range: $68 - $70/hr. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance IVR applications using modern engineering practices and Cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design solutions that align with strategic business goals.
• Ensure high-quality code delivery through strong development, testing, and quality control practices.
• Lead and mentor developers as part of an agile team, fostering a culture of learning and teamwork.
• Troubleshoot, support, and continuously improve existing IVR applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and technical discussions that guide the direction of our solutions.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; Java, Genesys, IVR 
• A strong track record of delivering software through multiple full project implementations.
• Hands-on experience with IVR development and supporting technologies.
• Experience leading developers within an agile, fast-paced engineering environment.
• A commitment to engineering excellence, clean code, and scalable design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to tackle complex challenges.
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for working within a team that enjoys both hard work and celebrating wins together.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Java/Spring development with hands-on experience for complex applications.
• Previous experience with Speech-enabled IVR development using Genesys or/Nuance Framework.
• Experience with Java/JavaScript, Spring, Groovy & VXML (4). Well-versed in using AI tools such as GitHub CoPilot.
• Familiarity in deploying contact center solutions in a private or public cloud environment.
• Experience in building/deploying applications on MS Azure or OpenShift platform.
