Workday Implementation Consultant / Workday Financials Consultant

Pay Range: $70 - $80/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicating Acceptance Criteria for User Acceptance Test (UAT) to financial controllers, accounting directors, accounting staff, testers, project team members and technical personnel.
• Creating and maintaining scorecard of UAT progress, issues, and results.
• Organizing testers from line of business accounting teams, including Single Family, Multifamily, Client Markets, and Corporate.
• Articulate test strategy and objectives
• Explain key Workday capabilities and related functions and interfaces
• Plan test execution and records defects and results
• Track defects to resolution
• Assisting with creation and use of mock data based on historical results
• Modify data as necessary to fit test scenarios
• Create and organize expected results
• Validate actual results relative to expected results
• Implement data driven measures of progress and quality

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Implementation, Finance, Data Conversion, SOX
• Experience implementing Workday Financial Management at large financial organizations.
• Experience leading teams of people such as testers and support teams.
• Experience communicating with project leadership and accounting officers.
• Experience with Internal Control over Financial Reporting and IT General Controls.
• Candidate should have general knowledge with IT controls, SOX, and financial reporting control.
• Collaboration is important for this role.
• Workday Cert preferred.
