Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care & Coordination: Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions. Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients with epilepsy and related neurological conditions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, prioritize daily patient flow, and deliver safe, effective care according to established policies and procedures.
• Patient Advocacy & Satisfaction: Act as a dedicated advocate, listening to patient and family concerns and responding in a timely manner.
• Serve as an educational resource on epilepsy management and health-related issues.
• Embrace patient- and family-centered care principles to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Performance Improvement: Actively seek opportunities to improve the clinical environment and patient care processes.
• Contribute ideas and support initiatives aimed at enhancing patient quality outcomes, satisfaction, and organizational performance.
• Professional Competency & Growth: Maintain all required licenses and certifications.
• Engage in continuous learning, keep current with industry best practices and research in epilepsy care, and seek opportunities for professional and leadership development.
• Professional Leadership: Foster a positive work environment by mentoring others, adhering to the highest professional standards, and participating in shared governance.
• Promote the nursing profession and contribute to a culture of accountability and integrity.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-• Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State)
• Current BLS certification (required upon hire)
• Experience or strong interest in neurology, epilepsy, or medical-surgical nursing
• Excellent patient advocacy and communication skills
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) is strongly preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:-Current RN License in the State of Georgia or a Multi-State Compact License.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required upon hire.
• Experience in neurology, epilepsy, medical-surgical, or a related acute care setting is highly desirable.
• New graduates with a strong interest in this specialty are encouraged to apply.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and patient education abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
