Desktop Support Engineer
Immediate need for a talented Desktop Support Engineer. This is a 12 month Contract role and is located in Tampa, FL(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $16 - $18/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- First round: Face-to-face interview
- Second round: Virtual interview
- Desktop Support engineer position requiring 1 to 3 years of experience.
- The role focuses on managing IT and computer systems to resolve user issues within agreed service levels and IT assets management.
- The primary responsibility is to manage information technology and computer systems and ensure that users’ IT issues are resolved according to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key skills: - “Field Service", "Desktop Support”, “Laptop & Desktop Repair", "Printer Support", "Network”, “Hardware Troubleshooting", "End-User Support".
- Requirements: Candidates must have networking experience.
- Hardware Support: Providing Level 2 and Level 3 support for hardware platforms such as laptops, tablets, and handheld devices.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows 11, Mac OS, iOS, and Android operating systems.
- Desk-side Tools: Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desk-side tools including Microsoft Office 365 (O365), MS Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, and conferencing tools like Webex and GoToMeeting.
- Email Client Support: Expertise in Outlook installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems is essential.
- Data Center and Governance: Expertise in data center management and data governance is required.
- Networking: Basic knowledge with computer networks, including Cisco & other network rack and stack and enable console, is necessary.
- IT Asset Management: Managing IT assets and ensuring compliance at the location level is part of the role.
- Compliance: Maintaining location compliance related to antivirus, patching, and disk encryption, as well as account-specific compliance adherence.
- Providing specialized support for VIPs, including setting up and troubleshooting teleconferencing and Cisco video calls using Cisco Room Kit EQ and Deskpro.
- Performing daily and weekly preventive maintenance to ensure the health of IT assets owned by VIPs.
- Coordinating with domain teams, vendors, and OEMs to resolve issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for the role.
- ITIL Foundation certification is required.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office 365 applications is expected.
