NOC Training and Standards Manager

Pay Range: $50 - $60/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain support responsibility for the vision, design, and rollout of training materials and lesson plans.
  • Facilitate or instruct new hire, specialty, and recurrent training classes as needed.
  • Develop training programs and methods for the enhancement of NOC Training.
  • Maintain records and documentation as required.
  • Develop standards and procedures for NOC Operations.
  • Respond to/create correspondences as necessary.
  • Create and deliver presentations.
  • Develop/maintain close partnerships with supported operational groups to promote close working relationships.
  • Ensure training needs are met by gathering timely feedback.
  • Maintain proficiency in the area of support if the Employee comes from that classification (matching NOC CBA requirements).
  • Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed in this description.
  • May perform other job duties as directed by the Employee’s Leaders.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Key Skills;Organizational Skills; Collect/catalog/digitize/centralize training data; Tableau/QuickBase dashboards; SharePoint; Provide Insights .
  • Knowledge of training and or/facilitation.
  • Knowledge of current and emergent PC software packages.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
  • Knowledge of Airlines Operations.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Tableau, and QuickBase.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, analytics, strategy, decision-making, and time management.
  • Skilled in adapting training methods based on audience, subject matter, and support materials.
  • Skilled in project management.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to assess the performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action .
  • Ability to listen to, understand, and communicate ideas presented in writing and/or in speaking with others .
  • Ability to produce several ideas about a topic.
  • Ability to cast a clear vision and gain buy-in for support.
  • Ability to coach and mentor others.
  • Ability to work well with others as part of a team; professionally interact with other departments, labor groups, and the public.
  • Ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to produce unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem.
  • High School Diploma or GED .
  • Project Management .
  • Training and/or facilitation, curriculum development.
  • MS Office Suite, including a high proficiency in using PowerPoint or other presentation software.
  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space workstation/desk/office area] for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job.
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
  • Must be available for after-hours support based on operational needs.
  • Must be able to work onsite at HDQ in Dallas, Monday -  Friday .
