Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures
- Prepare and position patients for exams
- Operate fluoroscopy and specialized IR equipment
- Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety
- Participate in call rotation (30-minute response)
- Work Shift & Schedule: Shift: Day Shift (8-hour shifts)
- Schedule: Full-time, Call Required: Yes, 30-minute call radius
- Must have: ARRT-R (Radiography) certification
- Texas MRT license
- BLS certification (within 30 days)
- Must obtain advanced IR certification within 2 years (ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or ARRT-VI)
- Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Will cross-train IR Techs with ARRT-R and 2+ years experience
- ARRT-R and Texas MRT license required
- BLS within 30 days of hire
- Must obtain ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or ARRT-VI within 2 years
