Production Support Engineer for Market Risk space

Pay Range: $50 - $58/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

• Respond to and resolve business and technical queries within the Market Risk space
• Manage and monitor the user query mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses
• Address feed and batch support issues; manage system alerts and production monitoring
• Utilize tools such as ITSM, ITRS, JIRA, Dynatrace, and Client to track, resolve, and report issues
• Perform incident management: issue timely user notifications and coordinate escalation
• Document support procedures and maintain a knowledge base for recurring issues
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure root cause resolution
• Contribute to periodic metrics reporting and analysis
• Coordinate and execute Business Continuity (BCP) testing activities and documentation
• Organize and lead meetings independently to resolve ongoing or emerging issues
• Identify opportunities for automation to eliminate manual and repetitive tasks

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-(Market Risk exposure), Unix, Dynatrace.
• Minimum 5 years of Production Support experience in a financial services environment
• Proficiency in SQL and strong understanding of relational databases
• Solid working knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles and frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong project management and time management capabilities
• Experience working in multi-regional and cross-functional teams
• Hands-on experience with ITRS, DynaTrace, Client, Autosys, and BOB jobs
• Python scripting proficiency for automation and diagnostics.
