SAP Payroll Analyst

Pay Range: $40/hr - $50/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Gathers and documents business requirements related to payroll and business activities
• Analyzes and evaluates information gathered from multiple sources to create documentation, including but not limited to business requirements, process flows, test plans, test scripts, and test results
• Assists with developing and performing the testing related to the payroll system and downstream systems
• Represents the department in meetings and through written and verbal communication with internal and external customers
• Assists in identifying and documenting internal controls in support of the auditing team

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; Must have experience in SAP Payroll, SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC), and Accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field and/or equivalent experience/training, including payroll and payroll processes
• Experience with SAP Payroll is required.
• Will be heavily using the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) application.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• At least 3-5 years of Payroll, Finance, or Accounting experience
• Experience with in-depth business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and process modeling
• Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
• Good background in regression testing, implementation experience, and/or UAT testing is preferred
• Experience with the SAP Surrounding team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Experience with system design and implementation
• Ability to read and understand multiple labor agreements
• Demonstrate outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under stressful situations
• Ability to handle multiple assignments, changing priorities with minimal supervision.
