Key Responsibilities:
- Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures including organ imaging, cardiac stress tests, and other diagnostic studies according to protocol
- Prepare, calculate, and administer accurate doses of radiopharmaceuticals
- Position patients and operate gamma cameras and PET/CT equipment for optimal imaging
- Demonstrate understanding of radiation dose reference levels and monitoring
- Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to ensure correct exam and establish rapport
- Maintain radiation safety protocols for patients, staff, and self
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment; report issues to appropriate department
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with policies
- Key Skills;Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification
- Texas Medical Board (MRT) license required
- BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
- Hospital nuclear medicine experience preferred
