Pay Range: $40 - $44/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Note:Open to remote or hybrid workers to support our Columbus, OH based team. If in the Columbus, OH area, there is the possibility of at least two in-office days per week. Must be able to work East Coast hours.
• Work on this product will be to support Telematics, build and carry over dashboard work, digital and web work, and user experience enhancements within our Personal Lines business.
• The Consultant, Digital Product Owner will need to help drive the Telematics effort for this business led initiative to execution.
• They will need to work collaboratively across other product teams like our flagship mobile and front-end agent experience digital applications.
• Prefer an experienced Product Owner accustomed to working in fast-paced ambiguous spaces, experience with Angular tech stacks, builds trust and relationships quickly, strong ability to tell a story with data, and demonstrated experience with managing and prioritizing a backlog that balances desirability, viability, and feasibility for solutions.
• Experience with systems and tools such as JIRA, JAVA, Full Story, telematics technology, Angular, and Guidewire/ Policy Center are also preferred.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-Product Owner, JIRA/ JAVA/ Full Story/ telematics technology, Insurance/ Finance industry.
• Partners with Digital Product Manager and other Digital Product Owners to execute on the solution vision/roadmap.
• Serves as the customer and business proxy to developers and agile delivery teams for a single digital product/experience impacting a single line of business.
• Defines, prioritizes, and grooms the agile delivery team's product backlog to ensure continuous delivery, as well as develops, prioritizes and manages epics and user stories for the delivery team.
• Actively participates in daily scrum meetings, grooming meetings, project status meetings, sprint planning and review meetings.
• Drives near term milestone planning by overlaying the prioritize backlog against fixed time blocks (monthly/quarterly) to help manage interdependencies and coordination across development teams.
• Participates in planning and execution of user acceptance testing, triage issues and works with development team to resolve.
• Defines, monitors, and analyzes metrics that inform the success of the digital solution(s).
• Must have the ability to develop and apply innovative approaches to business problems and opportunities.
• Must have ability to influence senior management.
• Must have strong product and process management skills.
• Must have the ability to lead effectively in an environment of change and ambiguity.
• Must possess strong oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels within the company as well as external parties.
