L1/L2 Production Support Engineer

Pay Range: $68 - $70/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L1/L2 production support for applications running on Red Hat Linux, troubleshooting Python-based backend services and React front-end issues to ensure high system availability and SLA adherence.
• Monitor and support containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes), diagnose pod failures, deployment issues, networking errors, and coordinate with DevOps teams for timely resolution.
• Perform log analysis, incident triage, root cause analysis (RCA), and ticket management using tools like ServiceNow/JIRA; ensure proper documentation and escalation to L3 teams when required.
• Support MongoDB and Redis databases by resolving performance bottlenecks, connection issues, caching failures, and executing basic queries to maintain application stability.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills: Red Hat, Linux, Python
• Financial services
• Must Have: 8 – 10 years of Production Support  experience required.
• 7 years of Production Support experience
• 5 years of Python, Red Hat
• 2 years of Docker/Kubernetes.
