Pay Range: $43 - $48/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across various acute-care units based on staffing and patient needs
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient responses
• Support medical, surgical, cardiac, and specialty units with flexible and competent nursing coverage
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care
• Administer medications, manage IVs, perform wound care, monitor telemetry, and assist with procedures as required
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the EHR
• Adapt quickly to different unit protocols, patient populations, and workflows
• Provide patient and family education based on current care needs and discharge planning
• Maintain patient safety through fall prevention, infection control, and adherence to hospital standards
• Participate in unit assignments, float team meetings, and performance improvement initiatives
• Serve as a resource, demonstrating professionalism and a strong work ethic across all assigned units

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required (float pool experience preferred)
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Client standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
• Strong clinical assessment skills across multiple acute-care specialties (Med-Surg, Telemetry, Surgical, Cardiac, Neuro, etc.)
• Ability to quickly adapt to different units, patient populations, and workflows
• Proficiency in medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and telemetry monitoring
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities across varying patient acuity levels
• Strong communication and teamwork skills when collaborating with diverse unit staff
• Ability to handle fast-paced environments and manage rapidly changing priorities
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm and confident during emergencies or unfamiliar situations
• Competence in using EHR systems and documenting care accurately across multiple units
