Field Service Technician
Immediate need for a talented Field Service Technician. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Denver, CO (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $19 - $20/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- On-Call Requirement: Rotating on-call schedule.
- Shift Differentials: None.
- Mileage: Reimbursed for all work-related travel; daily mileage varies.
- Coverage Area: Denver Metro region.
- Work Environment: Frequent driving between locations, with both on-site and limited remote work components.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and perform installations that may require standing, bending, or kneeling.
- Provide on-site technical support for networking equipment, access points, and connected systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues involving computers, printers, POS systems, and display devices.
- Perform equipment installations, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct software updates, configuration, and system checks as required.
- Manage work orders and document service activity in ticketing systems.
- Ensure compliance with client SLAs and complete assigned tasks within required timeframes.
- Plan and execute daily travel routes efficiently between assigned locations.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused demeanor while working with restaurant staff and management.
- Complete required training and technical certification for account eligibility.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and occasional overtime.
- Conversion Rate: $21.00+ per hour
Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Qualifications
- Key Skills; Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting, Printer repaire
- 2–5 years of relevant IT or field service experience preferred (training available for qualified candidates).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for both hardware and software issues.
- Hands-on experience with PCs, printers, POS systems, and general hardware repairs.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN, wireless access points, routers, switches).
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional approach.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed).
- Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing schedules.
- CompTIA A+ certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience or certifications with Lexmark, HP, Dell, or Lenovo hardware.
- Hands-on experience with laser printer break-fix and hardware installation.
- Completion of client-specific technical certification after hire.
